Window Switch Illumination

Don't buy an expensive new window lift switch because the illumination has failed, just replace the bulb.

Carefully prise the top off the switch with a small screwdriver

Carefully prise out the bulb holder

Remove the bulb from the holder. Note how the tails of the bulb are wrapped around the holder.

Purchase a new closely matching 12V bulb with long tail wires. 1W or 1.2W is ideal.

Fit the new bulb to the holder. Wrap the tail wires carefully around the bulb holder.

Press the bulb holder back into the switch.

Clip the top of the switch back on.

Plug in and test!
