he is Georgio Moroda but what the Alpine link is I dunno
never thought I would want a list but now find myself needing one just to remind me: Clio V6 230, 5 gt turbo, 5 Gordini turbo, Megane RS 300 Trophy.

10 points Mark...right person..
Now you need to explain the link between Giorgio Moroder, Blondie, and a GTA/610

Another clue....

Blondie link is easy as he produced them at their worse period (so far) as for that V16 or whatever god knows.

Ok..here's the answer.
The Cizeta Moroder V16T. As well as producing Blondie he was behind this Gandini-designed car..(a partner at least)..one of a handful of cars that use the Alpine rear light clusters.Image

Like the Alpine it’s a never ending story possibly driven by an American gigolo having electric dreams, (all produced or connected to mr Moroder)

Was in the new Suzuki Jimny today and it has the same infotainment system as the A110. One difference is that the bottom right corner is home to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto rather than MySpin. Wonder will we see this in an update at some point?

As mentioned before in a previous post I was told that the Cizeta factory still exists in California and they will build new cars to order. Don’t all rush at once!

I've just booked my car in for recall work at Martins in Winchester (where I bought the car). I'll get it done on way to Goodwood MM.
I noticed on their site they have a pure and a legende for sale at 57K each. The Pure spec refers to apple and android car play not the chocolate teapot myspin. Be good if that was in the update but I very much doubt it. Has anyone got it to work yet? It links up briefly then drops the connection to the phone. I'm too old/bored/impatient/cba to work it out so just use an sd card and waze on the phone stuck to the windscreen.

I need to have a good rant about the infotainment system.

There are both functionality and reliability issues.

Functionality: For instance... where are the speed limit indications in the nav system? Why can't you set the system to default to your last input media?

Reliability: Frequently the voice recognition subsystem fails to start. And a new one today - the SD Card subsystem failed to initialise.

The REALLY annoying thing is with regard to these latter two reliability issues. There seems no easy way to simply reboot the system. Turning the display off does just that and that alone it seems. Seems you need to stop the car, wait for 10 mins or thereabouts (until the mountainscape pic comes on when you open the door).

This is really un-user-friendly, unnecessary and way behind the curve in 2019. Who writes this software? More to the point - who writes the use-cases and who tests it?

When and how do we update the firmware on this piece of crap?
