Would the above turbo work on a T2, with the set-up not been the norm on a turbo 2 i.e. (Quote from the other forum

the throttle closes, when you take your foot off the accelerator, the turbo is still spinning, and trying to suck air past the throttle plate, this causes a vacuum and will suck oil past the compressor wheel from the turbo internals.

Just out of interest a genuine TDC manifold will be going on, with a charge cooler and water inj, this will mean the turbo will be swapping sides,
