The conversion is fully compliant with all lighting regulations and is MOT approved. The focal projector dip beams are switchable to dip left or right allowing legal continental lighting with no beam benders required. This conversion is fitted to a 1990 GTA fitted with dim dip lighting. On early GTA's the focal projectors will not illuminate dimly when the side lights are switched on.

This car is also fitted with the matching indicator conversion. It is also possible to fit the new triple lamp system independently behind the original headlamp glasses and retain the existing indicators.

It is also possible to wire the system so that the focal projectors illuminate with the main beam. This would only marginally improve distance lighting but mean that all 6 lamps would illuminate simultaneously. Please check with your local lighting regulations if you wish to do this.
