Looks very good l like the colour

Standard rear spoiler Vince, I think it's the lack of anything around it makes it look like an A610.
Pleased with the colour, although it's not one for the purists.
Looking forward to seeing it. Driving may take a bit longer....

Its Audi rs blue...Sepang blue is the full name.(ly6qe9)
Not at all purist but not so far from the darker original colour. the original paint was so shot that a respray was needed so colour changes were simpler. Red looks good, but there are so many red GTA and I think yellow suits the 610 better.
It's a subtly different colour from the alpine blue of Vince's A610 which is looking great on the backdrop of the site just now.
Looking forward to seeing how it looks with the light and stuff (like an engine) in it too.

Well, I'm sure Lee is right about the colour code, I wavered at the last minute between the 1990s colour and the 2015 version of Audi rs blue and I'm looking forward to seeing it in the flesh too...driving might take a little longer...

What was Roop's Lee Mans clone? Wasn't that an audi blue?

Well remembered, Ruperts 24v LeMans is a solid Audi blue if I remember...Rupert?
This is a metallic...what the 1990s RS's were painted in mainly.

Rupert's was Audi Denim I think..as I remember an Astra I had which could also be described as Denim...but.. faded blue and full of holes...it had lived next to a chemical plant I think...

I oscillated between green (mangy cours) and blue, we had a vote at home and it went blue...we have two other blue cars and one family member with a strong aversion to green.
Colour is a personal thing, dark is difficult to keep clean, that's true, but also hides some of the detail making the cars look more timeless. I did consider silver too (and yellow) as I think they look good in that, but Blue it now is.
Andrew Jones was pleased to hear it was coming on when I saw him at the Rats open day last year and gave me a load more photos of the car, as well as filling in gaps in its history.
The advantage of a car with low miles and lots of time off the road is that between the Andys we have a pretty complete history of the car and good documentation.
I'm just looking forward to getting it finished. Windscreen is now ordered, would be good if that became the last part of the puzzle but I think it's going to be quite a bit more time before its finished. Looking forward to that day.
