if i have offended anyone with some of my recent posts i sincerely apologize, they were only ment to add some extra information about the car. once again i apologies.

Progress has been slow but the car is beginning to look more like it should now that it has (most of) its glass back in.
Have been promised some clean, no masking tape shots soon.
As a result, I have started ordering a few bits for it too.
Maybe it'll make an event this year....but I've been told I mustn't get my hopes up...

Roof gutters are on the list both sides.

I already have a set of roof gutters for it, but looking at the pictures I'm not 100% sure they were fitted-before the glass- and this despite a nice step by step guide given to the painters by me from Vince (thanks again Vince) .....;-(( I have been promised new pictures tomorrow, hopefully they are there.

I used to have an rs4 in that colour, it looks lovely. Will be very nice to see how it looks all finished.

One step closer...the car is back at Rats. Unfortunately, the glass man has not fitted the side windows properly and they will need to be removed and refitted in the right place, but new suspension is on its way (anyone know the bump stops or dust covers to for SPAX GTA suspension?) and Simon Auto have also benefitted from some of my custom, so we should have most of the bits needed to complete now.

Well my latest simon autos delivery arrived today, I wish they did a loyalty scheme or nectar points.
I was wondering what to tackle next but the three bags of carb gaskets and other overhaul components have made my mind up.
I was surprised how many parts there are to replace in the carb kits.....I think I have found the critical path on the remaining work assembling this car, before we got to "which bits of the electrics still work" section.
It's not just Rats that will be burning the midnight oil on this one,but I am getting excited by the thought of having some thing that can move, MOT and useable might take a little longer.
