Well as I am snowed in at the moment with not alot to do I thought I would start my project thread and keep you guys up to date on my 610's developments!!This is the story so far.
Back in November 2009 I decided I wanted to buy one of my all time favourite cars, the alpine A610 so first off i joined this club and got talking to martin (BIG MVS) who was giving me tips on what too look out for and car he knew for sale. He knew of a few cars that were not for sale on the net, but I ended up by chance, finding just the thing hiding at the back of Chris Rabbets (Roadspeed) car park. It was a yellow A610 looking very sorry for itself as it had been standing there for four years. After speaking to chris he said it was for sale but he had lost contact with the owner!! So four months pass but i managed to track the owner down, he had moved to Amsterdam and forgot about his A610!
So afer a couple of weeks chris got a MOT on it and sorted the brakes, I sorted a deal with the owner and the car was mine!
This is how she look when I found her!!!

First up for restoring was to get the wheels referbed, I could of gone for silver but I do want to make it a bit different so I decided to go for a gloss gun metal grey! I also put on some new French style numbe plates, upgraded the audio with a double din JVC dvd player, clear side repeaters, new floor mats.

After this I stupidly sold the car but luckely managed to buy it back, under the 4 month ownership of robv6 it has had a Stainless steel exhaust from Roadspeed which is something I wanted to do anyway.
So at the moment she is living in the garage out of the snow, I will post up developments as they come.
