I'm stayinging in Calais on Friday evening so will hook up with you guys once your through the hole, it's max one hour to the circuit, or do you want me to shoot down there early and book you guys in so everything is sorted for when you arrive?

Just meet up with us when we're through.

Convoy should be:

1. Stephen + Joe S (A610)
2. Rupert (Spider)
3. Rupert's BinL (GTA)
4. Tony L + David G (GTA)
5. Iain B (GTA)
6. Andy H (Spider)

Not looking good for the Spider on Sat, can't get it registered till 1st November. I'll either bring it on a trailer or we'll bring two GTA's. :)

that's a botch  can't you borrow some trade plates? because you have a vin no. and a plate, just plate it up with the road plates and slap the trade plates on to get it to the tunnel, they won't care in France as long as it's got something that resemble number plates on it.

See you there

What a superb day :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

For everyone who missed the event you missed a great one,

The weather was fine..... there was a good mix of cars, it was very well organised, we had plenty of track time and the 2 best bits.......IT ONLY COST €100 for the days entry and the piece de resistance..........YOU COULD OVERTAKE ANYWHERE AND RACE WHO THE HELL YOU LIKED!!!

I'll definatley be back..... anyone want to go on a day therein the near future..... I'm thinking about organising one??????

Spider held up well after an initial misfire and we actually got to use 6th gear even if itwas only for a second or two at the end of the main straight!
gave some French guys what for espially a guy in his europa cup....... running on slicks mind you and we were running on sticky road tyres   there was some good entertainment provided by mad guys driving R8 Gs sliding everywhere on the bends......there was a few spinners during the day but not one single accident, a credit to all drivers who participated!

Thanks to Stephen for suggesting It
WHEN ARE WE GOING AGAIN???? .

Oh yes sorry about that........that was one I missed...... but you can't really call that an accident can you..... I'm talking about lumps of bodywork twisted metal and cars being dragged off the circuit not some dopey noodle who can't use their mirrors in the car park :?
