Unfortunately, due to the noise restrictions in place at Goodwood, we don't want to risk compromising any of the track use. At least not in our first year of the event. So at present, the 'cons' far out way the 'pro's' as far as a mobile rolling road is concerned. Thank you for taking the time to come up with the suggestion though.

Well I have stupidly booked this one only to realise a few minutes later that, sadly, I will be away that weekend.

It seems refunds are not possible for cancelled bookings. (is this even legal?)

If anyone is still thinking of going and haven't yet booked, I am told that my booking may be transferable. So please get in touch.

Refunds are only possible if the whole event is cancelled. Individual cancellations and refunds are not possible unless the booking is for an illegible vehicle. This is common sense otherwise everyone could just cancel beforehand if their car was likely not going to be ready or for some other reason. The circuit hire would still be payable and the organisers would be bankrupt. Transfers are allowable at the organisers discretion and this is applicable in this case. That will be the easiest and quickest option. The other alternative is wait until track time is 100% booked and then an automatic transfer can be made. As stated above any other option would open the floodgates and running the event would not be viable. Seeing as bookings are still ongoing I can't see there will be a problem in the long run, you just might have to wait a little longer. You may even make a profit reselling if the event sells out

Can anyone advise if you purchase, say, 2 slots of 15mins track day time, can you have a different driver for each slot ?
Reason; I've paid for me and my son and was thinking of allowing him to drive GTA for one of the slots.
How is the track day time organised? Do they allow just one vehicle on the track or is it a limited number ?

Just purchase an additional driver from the shop and you can do that. Assuming he has a driving licence of course!!

Half day might be a better option as the drivers entry is included so you'll get an extra slot for £10 more if you are sharing a car.
