You won't beat many of the 5's with a GTA on the rollers  ...................................you'll beat all the 21's that turn up though

I think that if someone turns up with a GTA that can show over 250bhp they would beat pretty much all the 5gts.......getting 250bhp out of a 5gt isnt as easy as some people make it sound. 200 yes... 250 no......it requires a fairly special engine to hold together (and remember theyve got to drive the car there too!!).

I think you'll find I did half a season with about 250bhp (until I did the ECU I had 189bhp). Or is that not long enough? I would say that Simon has probably hit the 250+ mark, as has GT5.......and GT5 only lives down the road!!

A straight through, bleed valve and CC aren't going to gain 25% .So even if your 20 year old car is still putting out the manufacturers stated BHP when new , I doubt it will achieve anything like .................
I'm not having a go ,I'm just being realistic .The R5 guys throw a lot more time and money into their cars than the average GTA owner does in the pursuit of performance .

Are you saying I'm just average?
I was rather chuffed with peters positive compliment.

I certainly have 250+ .... .... .... 259 actually.
Top Gear, the main meter was off the scale and she wasa beaten at 61 hundred. That is 161mph, well over 250 but you need a lot more than Bruntingthorpe to see it and a cool damp morning helps a load.

OK so I'll put it on a RR this year and see what happens.
I've seen a couple of these 5 shopping dollies skate round Castle Coombe and they were quicker than me in my old tourer.

I hope this thread aint gonna turn into a mutual disagreement.

The real fun is behind the wheel.

it sounds like a horrible sight to be.
rather than 'Best Breasts' from the girls, it is probably for Beer Bellies from the boys.
