A dash from Westerry Circus (Canary Wharf) at 6.15am down to Hayling Island for brekky...

Stopping at Ockham Common (M25/A3) to pick up others.

I've still got to persuade Lynne I can bring the family up in the A610... but hoping to be at the Ockham meet up.
I don't think they're too mad on really fast speeds, as the Rozzers are usually well aware of these things...
But no speed cameras on the A3! Except for the odd Talivan.

Thought it might be tempting. Last time I checked there were 85 cars on board! 8)

The meet up at Westferry Circus is at 5am......

Then Departing from Ockham Common car park at 6.15am.

the quote from the site is:

"An early start leaving Westferry Circus at 5am. Or take a 'lie-in' and join us at the Ockham Common RV for a 6.15am departure. The route will be familiar to Lotus owners, having been shamelessly plagiarised from a SELOC favourite"

I will confirm if I am coming on Friday morning, list is now 92 cars! :D

Be very careful,i travel from painshill to compton on a the A3 for my work several times a day,its FULL of police,on the bridges(SEND is favourite)and they are in all sorts of cars,S type jags etc,be very careful!!,i trust you mean you are meeting at the B.P on the A3 between ockham and send??,as you leave them services theres a traffic camera high on a pole above you,so the law will see something is happening, then a bit further along near Nuthill farm theres another watching eye, they are everywhere, enjoy!

Well I guess the cynics amongst you won't be coming! Not getting caught by the rozzers is pretty simple... don't speed on this sort of event, my impression from previous ones is that is how they are run.

In any case, I've managed to get the A610 roadworthy enough for the trip up to Surrey for the weekend, (family on board) so I should be at Ockham at 6.15am Sunday.

Will there be any other Alpines? 8)

Would be great to see you Simon, I'll be at Ockham from about 6am. The meeting place is in that woodland car park with a cafe, the first left turn on the A3 going southbound immediatley after the M25 junction, there's a Lorry layby there.

I'm not sure if I'll go all the way to Hayling, but just see how it goes. Should be quite a sight!
