SW CHAPTER 18 May Meeting Plymouth Alpine Park

Postby rupert » Thu Oct 27, 2005 2:35 pm

Now that I am ensconced in Plymouth 4 days a week, just how many souwesters are there on here? :D
I know of one GTA owner in Plymouth, and a few of you are up near Bristol/Cheltenham.
Suitable meeting place... how about somewhere near Exeter?
Sounds a long way but it takes me well over an hour to get to the Ace Cafe from Surrey... so no excuses.
Now how much interest is there? :?:

rupert, I'm surprised you have not been asked if your proposed sites are far from Belfast, yet!

Well I'm in Weston super Mare, but drive down to Exeter a fair bit. I think it would be great to have a meet every now and then.

Rupert, do you fancy organising a few cars for the new South Western Show in Taunton?

See the events page.

Yes in principle, would be good. Must check it doesn't clash with Goodwood -
Also depends on me having a car as well I guess!

Oh go on!

Postby rupert » Wed Apr 19, 2006 8:28 am

Okay, I'm planning to arrange a meet up down here on the 18th or 19th May. Most likely Thursday 18th, about 7pm onwards.
The meeting will be at the Alpine (ski) Centre in Plymouth. There is an excellent bar and they do suitably Alpine food as well.

(It's nowhere near Belfast)

Hoping for Geoff (A610) Alex Clark (R5T2), me(Spider), Bernard from Plymouth (GTA)
and hopefully a few more.
Is it too far from Weston (Mike GTA)?... about a 2 hour drive.
Anyone else?

Could any memmbers of CAR please post a link on to their forum, thanks

Hi guys. Regular meetings here http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topi ... &f=114&h=0

Anyone is welcome.

I have a GTA Turbo and a TVR T350t. Live in Torquay area and would be good to meet up with any Alpine owners in the South West occassionally.
