PRV blocks aren’t that common any more, especially the gta turbo spec, if the engine needs a full rebuild, it won’t be cheap...and getting some bits will need some networking. Rattlely blocks particularly troublesome if the oil pump housing is damaged, that’s a replacement block needed. Shells are ok I think, it’s blocks that are scarce. Phone Clee for the latest.

Sold the blue one a year or so ago. Just had a full Mot after having the head gasket done. Was a runner and all there, just tired, great spec, full leather abs etc. Reason I sold it was I have a 1 previous owner 38k turbo and simply couldn't justify having two.

Restoration cost, how long is a piece of string, just depends how good you want it. It was garaged for several years till I got round to doing the head gasket. Sold it unseen as a running restoration project, doesn't look as if anything has been done to it since, which is a shame. Not sure how far it could have deteriorated since I sold it, guess it depends on where it has been sitting, engine was really healthy, interior needed work and undoubtedly would need some chassis work, paintwork pretty average.

Misleading wording from the yellow advert:

Yellow one is a rot box presumably the reason it doesn't have a new MOT.

I've got a much better prospect than that.....If someone is after a project or wants one building.All good lights and paint is not bad either.
I need to fix a door pillar but the rest is solid,no crossmember rot etc.Good 3l Safrane lump with perfect oilpump housing etc etc etc.
£4k takes it away as I've no time to do much with it for ages .......
