Don't bother it won't end well.

Buy a new one, they are not that expensive.

The replacement compressor on my GTA was supplied with a manifold kit to match the pipe positions. An AC parts specialist should be able to supply an appropriate compressor and a manifold kit to suit.
(Ian at subzero supplied mine ..but I think he used a parts specialist Bristol way)
