Anyone looking for a GTA Turbo?

This is at Anglia Car Auctions on the 7th November.

Looks as if the interior might need some work (driver’s seat) but the engine compartment looks reasonably tidy. According to the GOV.UK website it’s currently on SORN and the last MOT expired in September 2012. It could have been washed before the photos were taken. Might be hiding something.

Yes went to see this. My main concern was the front turrets which has really bad cracks in the fibreglass tops. Not sure what caused them possibly the lowered Konis on the front?

Overall it looked fairly solid to be fair, it starts and runs which is a start. It's just tired and a bit tatty in places. Definitely a project but definitely worth saving.

It had cracks to the plastic (and rust marks) round the front turrets all the time I owned it.
I always suspected it had had a front end accident.
I didn't have konis when I had it though.

Tempting to buy it back!

I think the guide price is way off.

Guide price is about right in my opinion. I went to see it and could have had it for £2k.

It needs paint, interior, front turret repair plus possible welding. Factor those in and then bid...

Having said all that it is a solid car and if you can do the work yourself then it's a much more exciting proposition.

EDIT - I have just noticed it now has an MOT so I guess worth a bit more now. £3k maybe. With prices on the up and what classics at Anglian have been getting recently who knows what it might fetch.

.....this was also a "solid car"......with bills for repairs to prove .......

you are probable right Clee there will be hidden rot and one or two issues and i guess
the gta needs more putting in than we will ever get out in £ .
you could of had it for £2k. BIG_MVS00 thats cheep by anyone's standards.
ill be surprised if i can get it for less than £4000.
how many gta's do you know of going for less.
