I'm still on the look out for a Sport Spider....

Postby Keith Hall » Wed Mar 11, 2015 9:42 pm

After a couple of near misses over the last 6 months, I'm still on the look out for a UK registered Sport Spider if anyone is planning to sell :wave

Colour wise, I'm after either yellow or blue

As close to original spec is preferred

Thank you!

Any particular reason for not liking the cars advertised on PH or Classiccarsforsale?

I'd rather buy from an individual than a dealer

Dealers give you a load of "spin" on the car, don't really seem to actually know about them anyway and also don't know the history on the individual cars they have for sale.

Also, looking at all my options - I'd like to think that if I can buy from an owner from a car club, they would have looked after their car well :up

.. not to mention the fact that the dealers all ask ludicrous prices!
UK cars currently for sale are now more expensive than those in France!

Rupert you are right about the prices but Renault didn't make many so its a supply and demand thing. Also their great and no one has made anything like it since. The Spider affect is still so strong that these little cars draw a crowd where ever you go in them. You would have to spend a lot more to get the same affect a lot more. The fact I have one has nothing to do with it :D ;)

I see it made £22500.00 but uncertain if that was including any fees?

Yes this is his thread I think so no doubt he will see it if he's interested and give me a shout, likewise Rupert.
