Feedback please

I know some of you here are trying Silkolene PRO S 10w-50.

Any feedback?

Was surprised that it was red otherwise it seems to work fine.
Must have done 1,500 miles so far and it is still red and silky smooth.
Only doing 3,000 miles a year, I guess I'll need some more for the start of 2007.

Agreed ,it seems fine so far ,more pressure when hot than before .The engine sounds different at higher revs tho , more racy.

Please say something bad about it.
I know I should be using it.
It's much much better than Mineral oil and much better than most other synthetic oils, but it's expensive (for a tight a55 like me), so I need to fight common sense from the expense angle.

The extra expense would be in the delivery .I bought mine at Rockingham and didn't think it was that expensive considering the quality .I also bought gear oil and brake fluid so was able to get a discount 10%( if you don't ask etc )

I'm sure it's not expensive for the quality, but I'm useing cheap mineral 20/50 at the moment (and change it regularly).
I know It's better and I should change asap.
I'll have to bite the bullet soon.

I'm using it, and I have to say it's really good. Only done about 1500 miles, but the oil is holding up well. I'm still getting the low pressure light at idle though!

So all in all good feed back.
