Even better news today guys...Alpine Centre Manchester haven taken delivery of our first four cars. They arrived on a covered transporter and all fitted in their own protective covers, as you can see in the pictures. It was some job getting them off but the cars look great in the Manchester sunshine!

Hi guys, Just found this forum and it is interesting to see that so many of the Alpine enthousiasts are eagerly waiting on their new A110, even on the other side of the channel . Great to see that the first A110's for the customers have arrived in England. I have reserved one a few months ago and I'm just waiting now to sign my order wich will be in September (I hope). I have already changed My mind for the bodycolor and the options a few dozen times. Would like to hear from the future owners what they will be ordering for their Pure or Légende. For Me it should be something like this !

After originally being mildly disappointed with spec (4 pot 1.8, no manual option) I'd actually quite like one now. Certainly seems like the car is more than the sum of it's parts, it looks great inside and out, sharing the engine with the Megane RS will mean easy tuning too. Come on depreciation, 3 years £25k I'll be in

15 years and 5 grand and I'll be in as well.

Not sure it will be useable in 15 years, can see electric cars and self driving ones taking over and legislation and fuel issues forcing everything off the road - ala I Robot.

I would suggest You try a test drive. I'm sure afterwards You couldn't care less what it will be worth in 15 years

3 years and £5k and I'll take the Alfa still .....

I am tempted by the new Alpine but will wait for more power, the difference from what I under stand is it’s the ride quality with comfort, rather than a rock hard ride for the same handleing.
As an old fart that means a lot, still in joy driving fast on the twisty bits with my back in comfort after 4hrs would be good, don’t think the Alfa or Porche offered that.
No new car will last the distance, the life span is determined by the support by the manufacturer, of it’s components all about selling products, sad but that is with everything from a dishwasher to a tractor.

I would reserve judgement on whether it needs more power until you have driven one.

0-60 in 4.5 seconds is pretty quick.

The Alpine is about more than just speed its about balance and driving pleasure that raw power doesn't offer.
I don't recall any of the reviews published saying it needed more power.

I am looking forward to having a drive, having sat in one recently its definitely a nice place to be.
