Yes,all the pics I've seen prove Too far for a one day outing with a little tracktime .Would be better more central ...say Donington

Great to have so many Alpines, R5 Turbo's, Spiders etc etc along again. I always find it quite humbling that so many people support our little event. But then, its for all you guys we put it on for.. Thank you.!!

As I've never met or spoken to you Lee, i'm not sure how to take your comments.

Origine RS is more than just 'a track day'. Maybe you should come along and find out.., joining in and supporting an event attended by your fellow club members and customers?

Most take me with a pinch of ...I mean no harm
I've been to many events in the past but don't get the time or funds to do much these days.I just think Goodwood is a bit remote for a lot of members and it might be worth thinking about a more central venue .
As for joining in and support.I'm doing that day in,day out blud ......

This was an amazing event as per the previous years was well-organised, and thanks to all involved in making it happen. I know it's down south but it does have a lot of motoring history behind it and is also convenient for people from other Eu countries to get to and back. Also Goodwood although not being a very technical track is actually very fast and pretty dangerous, but An awful lot of enthusiasts have spent a lot of money improving their cars to get the best handling and max horse power, and this is one track where you can really push it to the limit if you dare.

I'm not having a pop at the event but it's not free,it's there to make money or at least break even,raise the profile so why not place it somewhere where more might attend ? Euro traffic is minimal.Silverstone has a bit of a history also and ticks a lot more boxes than Goodwood ,..even prestigewise
Was a throw away comment anyway about the lack of pics ...as usual from any event south of Watford Gap....
The club is it's members,this forum for the majority.It's not a yearly gathering .

Yes a club is all about its members and it's amazing that really anything ever comes to fruition, as everyone is different. It takes a special kind of person to organise events, hours and hours of work telephone calls emails the stress of the venue hotels the weather money, am I going to make the numbers to make it happen. But thank goodness there are people that like organising things, I for one could not do it and I take my hat off to all that do.

No argument here but that's not the point I was making .
I know it's a thankless task.I ran the RTOC shop and was a committee member for years .All I'm saying is there may be a better venue for more members to attend
